Ketchup Time
If you follow me on twitter or facebook, you’ve probably noticed the abundance of posts related to making ketchup and how excited I am to make it. This is the second time I’m attempting to make it, it’s a fairly long process and if you don’t watch your sauceapn(which I’m not doing now) then it can scorch and be ruined. The first time I made it, it came out too runny, which was kind of a bummer, but it did taste good.
This time I’m increasing my simmer time to 1.5 hours from 45min to hopefully get a thick enough ketchup.
