closetohomefilm:

After 18 months of production, our promo reel is now live! Next up: the feature-length film…

Synopsis: After 30 years, America thinks the fight against HIV/AIDS is over. But it flares regularly and quietly across the American South, where infection rates are 50% higher than in other parts of the country. Facing a broken health system and a culture of denial, HIV-positive Southerners must cobble together their own solutions to survive.

This documentary follows the lives of four Southerners: A black, gay man tries to escape the suffocating judgement of the Mississippi Delta; two best friends in Louisiana kickstart an empowerment movement; and an Alabama activist takes her campaign on the road. Intermixed in these main story lines are six 1- to 3-minute stylized mini-stories, or intersticials, that explore larger political and social themes bubbling across the rural South.

Thanks Joe for the link. A very nice Promo Reel for an important story.
